YOU BETTER SAY NEVER

It was setting up to be another long night for Allison. People in this town seemed to be too cautious for her to feed easily without alerting anyone. They all wandered in groups, and whenever she did find someone on their own, they reeked so strongly of vervain that she passed immediately. This place was turning out to be a total bust. So far, the only highlight she could find in this town was the Salvatore brothers. Though with any luck she might have discovered a new place to have some fun at that Night Club. The advertising flyer for it had come to Mrs. Chandlers house earlier this week letting her know about some big event they had coming up this week. Allison never missed a chance to show off, and had specifically made a trip to Atlanta just to find a few new outfits she could wear out and about, but before she could wander among the mortals more she needed to feed for real. Not those disgusting blood bags, but the real deal, straight from the vein. It was because of this that the blonde bombshell found herself wandering the back streets of Mystic Falls looking for unsuspecting (and non vervain filled) citizens to munch on. She drifted dreamily in and out of the dim streetlights and shadows that filled street after street avoiding the crowds with ease like a ghost.
Suprisingly the streets were not overly busy, and when she heard voices approaching, she slipped into the shadows between 2 houses just in time to see 2 people walk by arm and arm. The girl startled and looked towards the shadows where Alli was hidden uncertainly. Her boyfriend tried to pull her forward but she refused to move.“I-I thought I saw something… I think someone is in the shadows…”Her date played off her paranoia and tried to pull her along again. After several tense moments where Allison thought she might have to kill them or compel them, the woman reluctantly moved and the couple walked further down the street disappearing around the corner. Alli stepped out of the shadows and straightened her coat with a scowl. What was it with people in this town? They all seemed so suspicious. Without a further thought she turned the opposite direction and strolled up the sidewalk, her heels making a sharp click-click as she moved. She turned down a side street and spotted the figure of someone walking towards her in the distance. Again she slipped into the shadows to lie in wait for the attack, or so she thought.
