[atrb=width,240] Katherine was never up this early. It was utterly ridiculous to be perfectly honest. It was just past 7 AM and here she was, walking through the streets of Mystic Falls as if she didn't have a care in the world. Even though she had plans to stop at the coffee shop and do a little reading of a magazine, she was clearly preoccupied in her own inner thoughts. The morning was fairly warm, so she had a pair of jeans on and a tight fitting purple shirt. Her brown locks of hair bounced happily along her back and shoulders with each step that she took. After about five minutes, she could see the small shop ahead of her. She had to cross a street or two but that was done with the breeze of a gentle wind. Pushing through the door of the shop, she glanced around. The smell of fresh coffee immediately hit her. She didn't mind drinking coffee to fit in with the humans that were around but the smell was just a little much. Katherine fought back a grimmace and headed over to the counter. When her turn came , she decided on something a little different than the original plan of a hot cup of coffee. A cup of hot chocolate. She hadn't had one of them in forever. She ordered her drink and paid the cashier and then headed over to a chair. The lone table that seemed to be open. Kat lowered down to sit and set the hot chocolate down. On the table were magazines and a newspaper. Something on the front page of the paper had caught her attention. More killings in Mystic Falls? She could only guess who was behind this. She reached for that days paper and brought it into her lap. She leaned back and started to read. She was only halfway through it when she let out a soft laugh. They wrote the article up as a serial killer in the area. Really? Come on, there weren't serial killers in Mystic Falls. Unless you counted the numerous hybrids, vampires, and witches that littered the streets of Mystic Falls. Those were the only killers here in this boring city. She couldn't believe that people actually fell for this type of thing. | [atrb=width,140] words , ### words tagged , Lumen notes , I appologize if short, I didn't know how to start this. |
