Born in Dallas, Texas, Sage lived on her family horse ranch for a good percentage of her young life. From the time she was born to the time she turned 12. As a child, she had a baby sister named Emelina who died of a stroke caused by Hutchinson-Guilford Progeria Syndrome; a fatal disease that causes premature aging in children from eighteen months to two years. As a result, her parents killed themselves a year after the death, leaving Sage and her older brother, Ezra, to be moved to Mystic Falls to live with their Aunt Jacquette, who owns a flower shop in Mystic Falls. Since the move, she's finished her high school education and started working as a flourist in her aunt's shop. Being a witch, she has an innate sense of nature and uses that to her advantage, though she rarely ever uses magic otherwise. She likes who she is, but she doesnt feel a need to use her powers for much.
Friends and family are the most important things to her. Without her parents and her baby sister, she's left only with her Aunt and her elder brother, and even though she is the baby of the family, she feels deeply protective of them. If ever something were to happen to them, it would tear her apart. Making friends is something she rarely lets happen. She prefers to keep to herself, but sometimes, the odd person will break through to her. When that happens, she treats them with the utmost respect. She cares deeply for the people closest to her and would do almost anything for them.
Enemies... Well, she doesnt like hybrids and vampires so they would make the best enemies for her. She doesnt know how exactly she feels about werewolves and other witches, as she's never met any of them. The only other witches she'd ever met were her mother and her aunt. You can be sure though that if you're her enemy, it wont work out well for you in the end. Especially if you cause harm to someone close to her.
Love is something she's never really tried. Not because she doesnt want to but because she's never really found the right motivation or the right person to start with. She's a strong believer in a faithful relationship though. She thinks that if you're going to start a relationship with someone, you shouldnt let yourself stray and cheat on that person. Otherwise, whats the point?
