While he can be intimidating, he has learned to act certain ways to keep people comfortable around him.
STYLE|| Carter has passed through his rebellious stage and wears usually a t-shirt and jeans everyday (shorts if it’s hot enough). He often sports either a button up shirt over top, or his leather jacket. He has been known to just go shirtless around the house or when working on his motorcycle. Carter would take a pair of comfy sneakers or boots over sandals any day, but often goes around the house bear foot as well. Carter has grown up enough that he doesn’t try to fit into the styles of those around him anymore and tries to just be himself.
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES|| Carter, like his brother doesn’t have many distinguishing features. He has the same handsome looking face as his brother, with the same remarkable grey-blue eyes. But his smile is a little more jaded. However when he wishes he can make it fill his face and charm his way.
PERSONALITY|| Carter is a lot more secretive than his brother. Where Alec is sociable and outgoing, Carter prefers to keep to himself. His personality has changed from the jokester he was in high school. But then again killing a man in a bar fight and having your parents murdered in vain for it tends to change a person. Carter sticks to himself mostly, except when he’s at work where he pulls out the charm to part people with their money and pay the bills for himself and his brother. He’s not mean however, and is actually quite friendly. But he tends to stick to himself with the exception of the occasional beautiful girl that he has hooks up with.

HISTORY||Carter was born the oldest son of Edward and Summer Miller. However he was so not the well mannered, polite son they had expected. Instead they found a troublemaker who wouldn’t sit still and never followed the rules. The 2 boys were raised together with Alec being the shining star in their parents eyes, and Carter disappointing them at every turn. When he was 20, his parents announced they were pregnant and 5 months after his little brothers birthday his little sister, Jolyssa was born. Their happy little family was complete… for now. When Carter was 24, he found himself at a bar flirting with a beautiful girl who was there apparently alone. Unfortunatly her marine boyfriend didn’t seem to like him making out with her and started a brawl with Carter. He defended himself and one thing led to another. His parents got a call to come down to the hospital immediately. Carter had broken an arm, 2 ribs and a severe concussion, But the other guy was dead. His mother went to sit by him while his father tried to keep him out of jail for manslaughter. After making sure he was alright for the night and not going to jail, they headed home to Alec and Joy. But on their way out a friend of the dead guy found his way up with the intention of shooting Carter. He took out 5 people (their parents included) before doctors and security could bring him down. Alec, Joy, and Carter received the horrible news and arrangements were made. Joy would be sent to live with their aunt in California, and Alec would be under Carters care. They recovered from their loss, but Carters life would never be the same. His temper grew worse, and he began to drink more as the first full moon approached. Suddenly he found himself in pain, and turning into a beast. Only strength of will kept him from hurting anyone. Afterwards he set out to learn all about werewolves and takes all the necessary precautions on the full moon to make himself safe. Since then he has learned to control his anger and keep it from getting out of control. However he worries about his siblings since they too carry the curse. Now Carter keeps an eye on his little brother, and works as a bartender at the Grill in order to pay the bills.

RP SAMPLE||As Bonnie stared at the newcomer (friendly or not was still unknown) she tried to think past her pulse pounding in her throat and desperately figure out why Grams had wanted her here, because it had to have been Grams that brought her. That was the last person she remembered from her dream, and the only spirit she could think of that would contact her. Could it be some secret about the Hybrids? Or many some hidden weapon or tool that would aide them in getting rid of the bastard after all. Her attention was snagged back and she took a small step backwards as the young man stood up, but once she realized what she had done she took a step forward back to where she’d started. Why was he out in the middle of the old part of the cemetery at 1 in the morning? She was here because the spirits had brought her in her dreams (though she wasn’t yet sure why), but did that mean that he was also a witch – or rather a warlock? If he was a warlock, he could be on their side just like Isabelle. She needed to find out and quickly.
He was larger than her physically, and even if he was just a plain human, he could still hurt her without her able to do much about it. But when he spoke, his calming voice helped ease a little bit of the tension from between her shoulder blades. She studied him for a few minutes with her eyes and her ‘other’ senses. He was handsome in an almost ordinary way, but as far as she could tell without touching him, there was nothing overtly special about him. Ever since Klaus had showed up and pretty much threatened everyone she held near and dear, she hadn’t fully trusted anyone. She spared a thought for the witch that she’d met in the forest the other day. While she was pretty sure she was telling the truth, she still was iffy about involving her with all of the research and plotting that she was doing. But this wasn’t Isabelle in front of her.”Can I ask who are you?.. and why you’re in a place like this so late.. er… early?”She tried to smile at him, but it didn’t reach her eyes, and left her voice a little strained with fear. “I-I’m Bonnie and…” She debated for a moment about what to say. She couldn’t tell the truth, because if she told him that she been brought here by spirits in her sleep, it might out her as a witch. But what could she say that might make sense to him, and still keep her secret? “I-I think I was… sleep walking.”
She hugged her arms tighter around her as the wind picked up rubbing her hands along her sweater covered arms. But it wasn’t the breeze she was hugging herself from. It was the whispers on the wind, voices that called to her and seemed to echo with magic. She fought off a shudder and tried to play it off. Whatever it was, she couldn’t let him know that the breeze had been anything but a wind. It was so inviting to want to follow that trail of magic out into the cemetery so it could confess it’s secrets, but she couldn’t. Not without letting him know the choice. Just as she thought she was going to have no choice but to follow them, the voices disappeared as if a switch had been thrown. For a second she was frozen waiting for something to happen, but as the moments passed and still nothing happened she relaxed her grip. His sudden voice caused her to nearly trip over her own bare feet when she startled, but she caught herself at the last moment.“Did you….. feel and hear that?”Bonnie’s only excuse for the truth that spilled out was that she was still shook from waking up in a strange place with a stranger, and trying to hide her brush with the mystical forces of the world. “Yea… I did.” Seconds after the words left her mouth, she seemed to realize that she had admitted the truth and quickly tried to cover it. “I mean…. Yea, that wind was… strange… It came out of nowhere…” Would he notice the hesitation, and more importantly would he know that she was lying. Crap! How did she always manage to get herself in these kinds of situations?
